It’s that time of year again, when priests across the Diocese of Allentown put on their aprons and head into the kitchen for “Cooks with Collars,” the annual online cooking competition that raises funds for local parishes and ministries.
Now in its sixth year, Cooks with Collars runs throughout September. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1, everyone is invited to watch videos of priests preparing their favorite dishes, get a peek behind the scenes in rectory kitchens, and vote for their favorite chef by making a donation to their parish. Every dollar donated counts as one vote, and voting early and often is encouraged! Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Msgr. Baker and Fr. Civitella have cooked up a delicious entry for this year’s competition. Watch the video and show your support by voting here: https://p2p.onecause.com/cookswithcollars/st-thomas-more-allentown or visit the Cooks with Collars website (www.CookswithCollars.com), which makes it easy to search for cooking videos by parish or priest.
